Dimensions 2023 announces full line-up

Following a very successful tenth edition of the festival last year, the epic Dimensions Festival has announced its full line-up this morning – and it really looks to be a spectacular year. Croatia’s most forward-thinking festival returns to its new home of The Garden Resort in Tisno from 31st August to 4th September 2023 with another untouchable mix of cult stars, pioneering legends and new school talents as well as the famous boat and label parties, live sets, back-to-back exclusives, debuts and much more.

The previous ten editions of the festival have seen the event really build up a special feel, meaning every dance is a special one, plenty of musical memories are made and new bonds are formed. All of that is no surprise given the experiences on offer – sailing out to sea on one of the hugely popular boat parties; baking in the sun as DJs drop warm beats on the beach; getting freaky at one of the after-parties or dancing under star-lit skies at the cult Barbarella’s Discotheque. And with the festival set on a sweeping, secluded bay, beside towering pines and with gorgeous sea views, the Garden Resort has proven to be the perfect setting.

With Dimensions all about high-quality production, carefully curated line-ups and crowds of serious music lovers, there is no finer place to spend your summer.

Take a look at the official highlights video below to get a feel for the festival:

On top of this, there will searing electro from Assault, Freakenstein, DJ Bone and Helena Hauff (who also brings her Presents concept with another hard-hitting line-up ), plus UKG and beyond with Dr Banana who return with a stellar takeover featuring Lady Passion, Perception, Enchanted Rhythms and more, while otherworldly explorations come from Sybil, Carl H, Simon Scott and GiGi FM. Sonic Festival Dubrovnik

The first Sonic Festival to take place in Dubrovnik’s stunning Lovrijenac Fortress this September

A new name on Croatia’s impressive music festival scene comes to Dubrovnik this September. Sonic Festival’s Sonic Sunset Session is to be held in the mighty Lovrijenac Fortress in Dubrovnik on 8th and 9th September 2022 – electronic music fans will delight in partying it up in this amazing location, the first time it will be used as a festival site.

Sonic Festival Dubrovnik

About Sonic Festival

Sonic Festival’s first edition is being presented as the Sonic Sunset Session to provide revellers with an unforgettable experience of both the location and the entire event. And some of the top names in the house and techno scene – both internationally and locally – are on the bill for this first edition: Italian producer and DJ Marco Faraone; one of Ibiza’s go-to DJs, Jamie Roy; and regional acts such as Danijel Čehranov, Dea Tosh, NEROA, Brigitta & MattButt.

Hailing from Tuscany, Marco Faraone grew up immersed in music – his father was a DJ in the 80s, and his initial foray into DJing was dominated by the many hip-hop records that comprised his then-modest collection. Marco then graduated to playing drum ‘n’ bass, before settling on a discerning techno vibe for which he is best known today. Marco became a resident at Florence’s globally-renowned Tenax club and quickly graduated from being a ‘crafty up-and-comer’ to one of modern techno’s most recognised and respected names. Marco’s productions have graced some of the scene’s most respected labels such as Drumcode, Defected and Rekids as well as his own much-respected UNCAGE imprint.

Jamie Roy is someone who lives and breathes underground electronic music culture in all its forms. It’s therefore no surprise that Jamie quickly became one of Ibiza’s go-to DJs in 2019 when he held a residency at the legendary Ushuaia for Nic Fanciulli’s ‘Dance Or Die’ events. As a producer, he has landed on the likes of Repopulate Mars, Trick, Unsound, Saved, Kaluki and Under No Illusion. With each and every new EP, Roy shows a subtle evolution of his sound while staying true to his roots. Whether playing an intense club set at places like Studio 338 or La Terrazza Barcelona, or
laying it down for huge crowds on main stages at BPM Festival Costa Rica or Elrow in Glasgow, Roy always knows exactly what record to reach for to make the best connection with his crowd.

Danijel Čehranov, the owner of Last95 Records, is one of Belgrade’s most sought-after DJs, as well as one of the most successful regional music producers. He has played at the amazing Dance Arena at Exit Festival, the Main Stage at the Sea Dance Festival, and also in New York, Moscow, Istanbul and the entire region.

Tickets for Sonic Festival

Tickets for Sonic Festival are planned to go on sale on 1st July 2022, and will be available on Entrio.

Additionally, during the festival, DAM Swindle celebrate their 10th anniversary by hosting a night at Barbarella’s and a boat party; Paris’ iconic DJoon Club hosts the Beach Stage and a boat party. Sadar Bahar and Friends and Chicago’s Chosen Few also have takeovers during the festival, assembling ten legendary artists for SunceBeat.

SunceBeat’s founder, Alex Lowes, says:

We can’t wait to get back to Tisno this summer for our 13th year in Croatia. There’s no better place for some pure escapism on the coastline and our soundtrack from some of the world’s finest performers is set to be magical. We have been working hard to curate what we feel is our strongest line-up to date. We have lots of new names who we know will fit in perfectly in Tisno and capture the magic. We remain committed in continuing SunceBeat’s diversity in everything we do and feel our first wave of guests embodies this, with many incredible female artists and DJs across the festival, some of the most exciting new young talent breaking through and of course some SunceBeat icons back with us, part of our journey as the longest running festival at The Garden Tisno.

It’s a huge year for festivals in general, both in Croatia and around the world, so we are hoping it’s a good year for everyone in the scene as the industry continues to recover. We can’t wait to welcome everyone for what is going to be a brilliant summer in Tisno.

We’re sure that Hideout regulars are already snapping up their tickets, but if you’re never been why not head to the island of Pag next summer to find out why it is one of Europe’s most loved festivals?

About Hideout Festival

Twelve years on from its first event, Hideout has evolved from its humble roots into one of the flagship summer festivals in Europe. Young, playful and style-conscious music lovers gather at the clubs of Zrce Beach to have fun at the festival’s high-energy parties, day and night as well as at the boat parties, beach parties and at the headline shows.

Hideout takes place at the world-renowned clubs Papaya, Aquarius, Noa, Kalypso and the intimate Euphoria; altogether, they offer a mixture of sun-soaked wooden terraces, plenty of thematic production, mesmeric lights, world-class sound systems and – the ultimate for partying in this part of the world – uninterrupted views of the glistening Adriatic.

Just in case that’s not enough for you (what now??), there’s plenty of other daytime adventure that you can take part in – everything from water sports, banana boats, jet skis and pedalos to the famous Bungee Jump, massages on the beach and more.

Hideout Festival 2022 Line-Up

We’ve already mentioned some of the names appearing at the 2022 event, and the line-up is certainly supersized even by Hideout’s high standards. Featuring a celebration of all genres with everything from disco to techno, drum & base to garage and house music, you’ll be able to enjoy both legendary pioneers and red hot breakout acts.

For cutting-edge underground sounds, there are scene leaders such as Ninja Tune’s Jayda G, rising superstar TSHA and recent Fabric mix entrant and techno innovators Overmono. For house heads there are the likes of GRAMMY winners Camelphat, Aussie house maestro Sonny Fodera, bass lover Eats Everything and Hideout faves Solardo, Jamie Jones, Hot Since 82, Sam Divine, Richy Ahmed, Krystal Klear
