Perseids Festival returns to beautiful Cres this August

After a very successful first edition of the festival in 2024, Perseids Festival will return to the lovely island of Cres from 14th to 17th August 2025. Perseids isn’t just a typical event on the summer festival calendar, no! A festival with a twist, this electronic music festival is a fully crowd-funded event, and there are just 300 tickets available. Better still, the festival is set in a beautiful and pristine nature reserve, with the festival fully respecting its wonderful environment. The perfect event for those seeking a deeper connection with music, nature and community – where better to swim, sleep, rave, repeat?

About Perseids Festival

Cres island, just off the northern part of Croatia’s gorgeous coastline, is one of the lesser-known and more “off-the-beaten-track” islands in the Adriatic. Perseids takes place on the stretch of the island between Tarej Beach and Forest Beach on the eastern side. Here, you’ll be surrounded by dense oak forests and the turquoise shimmering sea, based in a wild, off-grid location that offers an immersive, open-air experience that’s far from the peak-season crowds and commercial noise.

Perseids is fully independent from corporate sponsorship, and places great emphasis on sustainability, integration and intimacy – values that the festival is built upon. And as it is limited to only 300 revellers, Perseids makes sure to focus on a low-impact yet high-vibe environment, all the while preserving its beautiful setting.

All guests “bring” their own accommodation setup – whether that’s a converted van or something more low-key – to make sure they blend comfortably into the natural surroundings. Only essential facilities are available, and a “leave-no-trace” philosophy is embraced by all.

But what about the music? Perseids features three carefully designed stages that will all have a line-up of handpicked DJs, producers and live acts from across Europe and beyond. Genres aren’t fixed to particular stages; instead, the music reflects the mood of the moment and the crowd. This is true throughout each day, whether it’s at a sunrise session or a late-night DJ set. And Perseids prides itself on offering a platform for lesser-known talent, prioritising quality over mainstream appeal.

The second phase of tickets are currently available. There are two passes available – both allow you access to the entire duration of the event. Hillside tickets costing €110, whilst beachside tickets priced at €150.
