Located in this region of Croatia is the beautiful coastal town of Makarska, which is certainly recommended as a holiday destination! Resort towns Brela and Baska Voda (the former a smaller resort, the latter larger and more busy) are also lovely. Omis is the first town you come to as you travel from Split down the coast; Tucepi and Podgora are two small but lovely resorts. (The first is famous for a long stretch of beaches.) As it’s a popular part of the Croatian coast for a holiday destination, there’s a very good selection of accommodation in Central Dalmatia.
Search for accommodation using the search box below – type in your own destination. Alternatively, look at our individual pages for each town.

N.B. Although they are also in Central Dalmatia, we have separate accommodation sections for Split, and the islands of Brac, Hvar and Vis.
