North Dalmatia is sometimes overlooked as a holiday destination, which is a shame. It is just as lovely as the rest of the Croatian coast, and there are also some amazing historic sights here in the towns of Zadar, the wonderful Trogir and Sibenik. The resorts of Biograd na Moru and Vodice are popular with holidaymakers from all over Europe. Meanwhile, the Kornati islands are fantastic for exploring; the 125 islands that make up the archipelago range in size and type greatly. All of these wonderful towns, resorts and islands means there’s plenty to choose from amongst accommodation in North Dalmatia.
The region is also very easy to reach. The main airport in the region is Zadar, to where there are now a great number of flights from the UK and the rest of Europe. See our Getting to North Dalmatia page for more details.
