Trieste Airport to Opatija/Rijeka
Bosmere Travel (info@bosmeretravel.co.uk)
in the UK offer a service whereby people are picked up from Trieste
Airport in a people carrier or car depending on numbers. The main
route is to Opatija and Rijeka, but other areas served on demand.
Example price £85 to Opatija for a car. Bosmere Travel can
also arrange accommodation in hotels and private apartments in
most of Istria and the northern islands.
Trieste - Split/Dubrovnik
by Bus
There is daily bus service operating on this route, run
by SAF.
However, the journey takes 10.5 hours to Split, and 15 hours to
Dubrovnik, so it may not be the most comfortable option!
If you trying to reach Split or Dubrovnik, or somewhere
near those cities, we would recommend flying to Ancona
(for Split) or Bari (for Dubrovnik) instead,
and then getting a ferry across.
