Rijeka Airport is one of Croatia’s more underused airports. It certainly doesn’t receive as much traffic as Pula Airport in Istria or Zadar Airport in North Dalmatia. Presently, only Ryanair fly to Rijeka Airport from the UK – from London Stansted – in the summer months.
There are a handful of flights from other European countries to Rijeka Airport, including Belgium, Germany and Norway. Full details of all of these flights can be found on our Getting to the Kvarner Riviera page.
Rijeka Airport on the island of Krk is located close to the town of Omisalj, on the north of the island. There are numerous buses per day to Krk Town, Punat and Baska, and some to Vrbnik as well.
