For further options, you could also travel by train from Bari up the coast to Ancona. There are several train services per day, and the shortest journey time is 3 hours 45 minutes. Jadrolinija operates an overnight ferry to Dubrovnik, which runs once a week fout of season (April, October), twice a week in shoulder season and three times a week in peak season, i.e. July and August.

Jadrolinija also operates a new for 2026! overnight ferry from Bari to Split. This runs just once a week from the end of March through to mid-October.

Ryanair flies from Bari to Dubrovnik no less than five times a week in summer, and to Zadar three times a week.
