Zagreb is a beautiful city to visit, with numerous sights, museums and galleries to view during the day, as well as restaurants, bars and cafes for nightime enjoyment. There are direct, scheduled flights to the Croatian capital from a number of European cities - see our Getting There By Air section for details. For other options, try flying with Ryanair to Graz in Austria (then travel to Zagreb by bus or train) or to Trieste in Italy (then by bus). Easyjet also fly to the Slovenian capital Ljubljana, which is only 2 hours away from Zagreb by train.
