The fantastic INmusic Festival will return to Croatia’s capital for its 18th edition of the festival! It will take place 22nd to 24th June 2026.
In contrast to the largely dance- and club-based festivals that take place on the Croatian coast each summer, this one is a great alternative – especially with its eclectic range of big-name artists that always appear.
As Croatia’s largest open-air festival and with a pretty and super fun lakeside location on the edge of Zagreb, it’s also a highly accessible event. Better still, revellers can take advantage of the numerous accommodation options in the city – if you’re not partaking in the festival tradition that is camping, that is.
Zagreb is also very easy to reach; there are many flights from the UK and Europe (and even a little further afield) to Croatia’s capital. There are also plenty of other transport options, such as buses and trains from other European cities. It’s hardly surprising that this event brings in the crowds from all over the continent and beyond.
Some of the artists for 2026 have already been announced. They include Kings of Leon as headliners; they were due to perform last year, but had to pull out because of an injury to frontman Caleb Followill so they are back for this year. Other acts that will perform include Gorillaz, Jack White, Manic Street Preachers, and The Flaming Lips.

INmusic Festival
Located in the pretty setting of Lake Jarun on the outskirts of Zagreb, INmusic Festival is smaller than some other events held in similar-sized cities. However, it still attracts a number of big-name pop and rock acts.
What’s great about this festival is the ease with which it can be reached, both in terms of Zagreb and the festival site itself. Croatia’s capital city is just a two-hour flight away from the UK, and there are several airlines that operate direct flights between the two countries. There are also great air, bus and train connections to Zagreb from elsewhere in Europe (more details below).
Lake Jarun, the setting of INmusic Festival, is also very easy to reach from elsewhere in Zagreb by public transport – so you can stay right in the city (and take advantage of its delights) and easily make your way to the festival site each day.
This event would be a great way of combining a city break with a European festival experience!
Do also note that INmusic is one of the earliest festivals of the year in Croatia. The festivals on the coast near Novalja (on the island of Pag) or Tisno take place soon after INmusic ends. Are you thinking what I’m thinking…?!
Getting to Zagreb
Croatia Airlines, British Airways and Ryanair all operate flights from London to Zagreb – from London Heathrow for the first two airlines and from London Stansted for Ryanair. Ryanair, in fact, operates daily flights to Zagreb from London Stansted, which gives travellers lots of flexibility.
Ryanair also fly from Manchester and Dublin to Zagreb as well.
As mentioned, Zagreb also has great connections to elsewhere in Europe. See our Getting to Zagreb guide for full details.
Getting to the INmusic Festival
The festival is easy to reach by public transport from the centre of Zagreb. Tram numbers 5 or 17 both go to Jarun (the stop itself is called Jarun!). 17 is probably the most useful as you can catch it from the main square, Trg ban Jelacic.
From the Jarun tram stop, you can walk to the festival site. Simply follow the signs!
Tickets for the INmusic Festival
Tickets for the three-day festival currently cost €129 (plus fees). For an additional €62 (plus fees) you can buy a campsite ticket, which gives you access to the official campsite for seven days. Tickets can be bought from the INmusic website.
Single-day tickets are normally also available, watch out for these to go on sale!
Head to https://www.inmusicfestival.com/en/shop/tickets for details of INmusic tickets.
Accommodation for the INmusic Festival
As in previous years, the Festival will have its own campsite for festivalgoers, which will be open for a few days on either side of the festival. This will be perfect for those looking to keep costs low – not to mention great for those people who think a festival isn’t a festival without camping! The campsite has its own beach (on Lake Jarun), plus wifi, lockers, showers and more.
Alternatively, of course, you may like to stay in the city itself. Zagreb really does have a great selection of accommodation options for all budgets – from hostels to five-star hotels – so there’s no doubt that you will be able to find something suitable for you and your besties. There are also more and more options for renting small apartments – perfect if you’re a group of friends looking to share. Check out our guide to Accommodation in Zagreb for a little bit more info.
