Another year, another very busy social calendar for Croatia's capital city! Here's a listing of what's on in Zagreb during 2012.
We've listed the proper dates of events where possible - some events have yet to be finalised/publicised fully so we've listed under the month as appropriate; likewise, more events will be added during the year, so check back regularly!
January
An exciting FIS Skiing World Cup slalom event - the Snow Queen Trophy
- takes place in Sljeme (above Zagreb) on 3rd & 5th January 2012,
with both men's and women's competitions. It's a rather unique event
contested on a specially created run that isn't too far from Zagreb -
and therefore has the distinction of being the only World Cup event
that takes place in a capital city. Moreover, the Snow Queen Trophy is
amazingly well attended, with crowds of up to 25,000 people cheering on the skiers. Take part
in the fun!
