The Croatian ferry company
Jadrolinija operates
the majority of ferry routes in Croatia.
In tourist season, boats and ferries sail
the Adriatic connecting major ports with almost all inhabited
islands. One of the most scenic sailings
is a coastal route which connects Rijeka and Dubrovnik and stops
off at Zadar, Split, Hvar and Korcula on the way. There are restaurants
aboard the Jadrolinija ships and you can either reserve a cabin
or travel on the deck in reclining seats.
Jadrolinija also operate numerous local ferry services
between the islands and the mainland, as do other companies.
