Hvar Accommodation

Hvar accommodation is plentiful throughout the island, with something for all tastes and budgets! Hvar Town has the most choice, so this is a good place to pick if you want to choose from a few different options, especially if you’re looking for something rather hip and stylish.

Hotels

The Suncani Hvar group own a number of the hotels here, including the super-trendy, boutique Riva Hvar Yacht Harbout Hotel and the very stylish Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel, with its luxury spa and rooftop pool. They also own the Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort, a short (10 minute) walk away from the main part of Hvar Town with an amazing cascading pool. Definitely the hotel to stay in if you’re into lounging by a pool all day long! The Palace Hvar Hotel, also owned by the same group, is in the centre of town and in fact the oldest hotel on Hvar. A great place to stay with some gorgeous views.

The Hotel Podstine is another smart Hvar Town choice.

For more mid-range options, check out the recently smartly renovated Pharos Hvar Hotel, the Hotel Croatia, Delphin Hvar Hotel and the Villa Dalmacija Hvar Hotel.

Hostels

If you’re after hostel accommodation in Hvar Town, check out the Hostel Marinero or the White Rabbit Hostel, both centrally located.

Accommodation in Milna

The Hotel Fortuna is a four-star, smartly designed hotel located close to the beaches of Milna.

Accommodation in Stari Grad

The three-start Hotel Lavanda has its own pool and is right by the sea.

Villas on Hvar

Villas are plentiful all over the island. Either use the search box at the bottom of this page to search for them, or see the selection of Villas on Hvar on Booking.com.

Camping on Hvar

For those after a bit of glamping on this glamorous island, the Plage Cachee near Vrboska (on the north of the island) have wonderfully designed two-person tents.

For something totally different, there’s also the Cast Away Eco Village. This is a self-sustainable campsite that uses rainwater for toilet and shower facilities (heated rainwater for showers!) and solar power for electricity. There are two person tents and the campsite is right on the beach. This eco village is located in the small village of Gromic Dolac on the south side of the island.

For a larger campsite with mobile homes and bungalows, a shop and restaurant and its own beach and entertainment facilities, there’s the Camp Vira north of Hvar Town.
