About Outlook

Good old Outlook, hello new Outlook!

For 2020, Outlook will not only be taking place a month earlier, it will also be changing location. Saying farewell to the majestic Fort Punta Christo near Pula, Outlook will in fact be returning to its Dalmatian origins for its 13th edition and will be hosted at the excellent Garden Tisno site – home to many events on the Croatian festival calendar.

Outlook first started out in Dalmatia in 2008 when The Garden resort used to be located in Petrcane. Now in Tisno, The Garden will provide an fantastic opportunity for Outlook to offer a more intimate event.

This year’s line-up will be carefully curated by some of the most influential artists and tastemakers, bringing together some of the best that dubstep, dub & reggae, drum & bass and jungle and grime has to offer.

One of the most popular elements of Outlook in years gone by was the opening concert (held the night before the first day) in the stunning Arena in Pula. This year, they’ll have the same…except, now that they are in Dalmatia, this concert will be held in St Michael’s Fortress in Sibenik, a spectacular cliff-top venue.

And Outlook will be making full use of everything The Garden Tisno has to offer, from the multiple stages to Barbarella’s open-air nightclub, with revellers relaxing on the beach by day.

Getting to Tisno

Tisno is located roughly halfway between Split and Zadar, and there’s plenty of flight options to both airports from the UK and from all over Europe.

Split is probably the top choice as there’s many flights from all over the UK to there – there’s flights from Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Luton, Stansted, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh. See our Getting to Split page for details of flights from the UK, and from elsewhere in Europe.

Zadar is still worth considering as a place to fly into. Ryanair fly to Zadar from London Stansted, Liverpool, Manchester, Dublin and Cork airports; Easyjet fly from London Gatwick and London Luton to Zadar. Check out our Getting to North Dalmatia section for details of these plus flights to Zadar from Europe.
