Tours of Split

To take in all the most important sights in the city, the 2-hour Diocletian Palace Walking Tour covers many of the most interesting places within the Diocletian’s Palace area of the city, which covers some amazingly historic gems. There’s also an optional extra to add in an excursion to the nearby town of Trogir, which extends the length of this tour.

If you’re wanting to see Split in a slightly more active way, there’s a 3-hour Split Bike Tour in which you can explore the Diocletian’s Palace area as well as covering a little further afield, including Marjan Hill. This tour comprises of small groups only, so it never gets too crowded. (Electric bike options are available.)

On the other hand, if you’re after something a little different and perhaps more relaxing, there’s the 3-hour Split Wine Tasting and Evening Walking Tour. As well as taking in Split’s famous seaside promenade, the Riva, and some stunning views from nearby Marjan Hill on a leisurely walk, you’ll end up in a traditional wine bar to sample some local wines and cheeses.

Activities in Split

If you’re done with regular sightseeing and want a little more adventure, why not try one of the activity tours based in Split and nearby? There’s a range of Kayaking Tours from Split, from the 4-hour one in and around the city itself, to the 5-hour one that takes in nearby Ciovo island (close to Trogir) or an 8-hour that sees you transferred to Hvar for kayaking adventures by the islands there.

Or the Cetina River Rafting Adventure is a 7-hour (including transfers) white-water rafting experience on the Grade II to III sections of the Cetina River, with time for swimming and lunch (not included in the price) as well. For something a little more chilled, there’s the 4-hour Split Sailing Adventure in which you will be transferred to the island of Hvar, to then begin a sailing trip around this island and the nearby Pakleni islands as well.
