Croatia Airlines operates regular services between Zagreb and other airports within the country.

There are flights between Zagreb and Dubrovnik, Split, Pula and Zadar. In the summer, there are also services to Osijek and to the island of Brac.

Below are details for internal flights in Croatia for the summer months. Flights from Zagreb to these destinations usually operate daily; other routes operate several times or just once a week. See the Croatia Airlines website for the exact timetable details and dates of operation.

Travelling between Zagreb and Rijeka
We haven't included this in the above table, but there is also a direct bus link from Zagreb Airport to the main bus station in Rijeka (and vice versa). This route operates every day, with buses departing Zagreb Airport at 3.30pm. The return bus departs Rijeka at 5am; journey time is 2 hours. Domestic flights may be cheaper than you think!
As with most flight travel, some real bargains can be had if you book early enough. Checking for a flight on the Zagreb - Dubrovnik route for July 2011 (four months in advance), the price for a one-way flight works out to be 323 Kunas - that's about £39/$61/€44. (Exchange rates as of March 2011).

By comparison, a one-way bus journey on the same route costs about 235 Kunas (£28/$45/€32). So cheaper, of course - but the flight only takes 55 minutes as opposed to about 12 hours by bus. Ouch!
