There aren't that many major events that occur in this region of Croatia, as you will see below. However, there are still plently of small, local ones such as concerts or food and wine events! To find out about these, the best idea would be to look up the Events sections on websites such as of the Brela Tourist Board, the Baska Voda Tourist Board, or the Makarska Tourist Board or, alternatively, check locally when visiting the area.

April
The Dalmatian Wine Expo should take place in Makarska at the end of April with a large number of exhibitors. There will be tastings of top Croatian wines, lectures and workshops.

May
Mafest in Makarska is an annual comic book festival held over four days at the end of May. Various exhibitions and lectures on comics will be held.

June
The Makarska Summer runs from the end of June to September each year and includes a number of great events - music and theatre performances (traditional and modern), exhibitions, art events.
