Brela is the first town you approach when coming down the coast from Split. It is a lovely town which has long stretches of pebble beaches and crops of pine trees, and is much quieter than Makarska. For these reasons, it's a popular holiday resort (especially suitable for family holidays) for a relaxing type of stay.
In 2003, Forbes magazine voted the beach at Brela one of the top 20 beaches in the world! Getting to Brela
