Fresh Island Festival will be taking place on Zrce Beach, Novalja – on the island of Pag – from 11th to 13th July 2017.
About Fresh Island Festival
Another great festival on Croatia’s top party island – the island of Pag! Billed as ‘Europe’s #1 Hip Hop Beach Festival’, Fresh Island Festival and the beaches and clubs of Zrce Beach surely go hand in hand to give revellers a phenomenal experience.
Fresh Island Festival is held in the clubs of Zrce Beach in the town of Novalja (the clubs in question being Aquarius and Papaya) and the first few years of the event have seen some pretty big names from the world of hip hop perform – Snoop Dogg (aka Snoop Lion), Eve, Iggy Azalea, Nas, A$AP Rocky, Rick Ross, Pusha T, Skepta and Method Man and Redman have all got the party going on Zrce Beach.
Names already announced for 2017’s line-up include Rae Sremmurd, Sean Paul, French Montana, Krept & Konan, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lady Leshurr, Tim Westwood and many more, with additional names to be announced!
Getting to Pag and the Fresh Island Festival
Zadar Airport, on the Croatian mainland, is the nearest airport to the island of Pag. Easyjet also have a new route from London Luton to Zadar for 2017. Full details of these air routes can be found on our Flights to Croatia page.
Zadar Airport is also serviced by many flights from elsewhere in Europe. See our Getting to North Dalmatia page for routes from other European cities.
From Zadar airport, you can take a transfer bus to the main bus terminal in Zadar. From here you can take an additional bus direct to Novalja – the island is connected to the mainland by bridge. The journey time from Zadar to Novalja is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes; you can look up timetables on the Zadar Bus Terminal website.
If you’re looking for more options in getting to the Fresh Island Festival, do also consider flying to either Split or Zagreb – and see our Getting to Split and Getting to Zagreb pages for details of which airlines fly to these cities from the UK and Europe.
