The Festival
For something a little different to many of the festivals featured in this section, why not try the Seasplash Festival, which celebrates its tenth year in 2012? Taking place over four days, this "dance and lifestyle" festival is surely unique in the mixture of acts and genres it brings together - reggae, ska, jungle, drum 'n' bass, dubstep and electro, to name just a few!
Each year, a variety of both local and international acts take part. 2012's line-up is yet to be announced, although it should be as cracking as ever - over 60 different acts have performed at the event in previous years. As with last year, five stages should be in action throughout the Festival.
There will also be plenty of additional extras (workshops, chill out zones, boat parties) for you to enjoy!
Tickets for the Seasplash Festival
Tickets (and ticket details) have yet to be released. Come back here soon for more information, or check on the official Seasplash Festival website.
Accommodation for the Festival
Camping is normally available on the Festival grounds and should be included in the price of your ticket - however, space is limited.
As the Festival is close to the centre of Pula (it is on the outskirts of the town) it is certainly possible to stay in accommodation there and make your way to the Festival site each day by public transport. Take a look at what Pula accommodation options are available using the search box below:
Getting to Pula
Luckily, Pula has its own Airport so the Seasplash Festival is easy to reach from abroad. There's a number of airlines that fly from the UK to Pula, such as Ryanair (from London Stansted), Thomsonfly (from London Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester), Jet2.com (also from Manchester - a new route to Pula for them for 2012) and Croatia Airlines. You may also consider flying to nearby airports in Italy with Ryanair and transferring across to Istria. There's also quite a few options for flying from elsewhere in Europe - details of all of these possibilities are on our Getting to Istria page.
You can transfer from Pula airport to the main bus station in Pula, from where you can make your way to the Festival site by local bus lines.
