Istria is the most western province in Croatia, in which a number of Croatia's most popular resorts are situated - such as Porec and Rovinj. Pula, with its wonder sights, including a 1st century Roman amphitheatre, is the largest town in the region.

It is very close to Italy and Slovenia. The main airport in the region is Pula, to where Ryanair, Croatia Airlines, FlyGlobespan and Thomsonfly fly from various UK airports. See our Getting There by Air page for further details.
